Can I contact the landlord before I make a reservation request?

Do you have any additional questions about the property or would you like to ask the landlord something else? See how you can contact them!

Even though we don't publish the personal contact details of the landlords and we can't share them with you before you have a valid lease agreement for their property, you can contact any landlord directly via the platform at any time.

Before you make a reservation request

If you wish to contact a landlord before you make an official reservation request for their property, you can do so through the listing details. Simply open the listing details, scroll down to the "About landlord" part, and click the "Send question" button.

(NoteHaving a tenant profile is necessary for sending messages to landlords. If you haven't created a profile up to this point, you'll be asked to do so now.)

You can use this option to ask for any additional information that you couldn't find in the written descriptions or photos.

After you make a reservation request

Once you create a reservation request, you will be able to contact the landlord of the given property directly through your My Housing account. Just go to the Messages section, click the "New message" button, and you'll be able to select the landlord you'd like to text!

As soon as you have a valid lease agreement, we'll also share the landlord's direct personal contact information with you for easier communication.
