In the special case of short term lease agreements it is a problem that the Damage Coverage Guarantee deductible for the landlord makes € 200, up to a maximum of 25% of the proven damage. Then, if you rent e.g. only for 2 or 4 weeks, the deductible can cost you a major pot of the rent. This does not make sense, and will lead to less short term offers. At least for my part.

Reservation validated in less than 24 hours, I received a call from Flatio to know if I had any question about the reservation process. The reservation fees are a bit high, but people are there if there is any problem.

It is easy to look for an accommodation, by entering the dates of the stay and having a look on the map to see the available apartment. The registration process seems to be easy, but I can say so much at this step because I don't know yet if my reservation is accepted or not, neither I had access to my personal information. Maybe this rating system is done too early?

The flexibility and ease of use are phenomenal. Flatio smooths out quite a few rough edges, especially in the Vienna housing market. The prices are not quite competitive enough for me to really give Flatio a robust endorsement, however.

I loved the whole platform and the overall policies of flatio. In comparison to Airbnb flatio is far better. On Airbnb there are exaggerated prices which are fluctuating and not ethical.
