Bruno is both professional, personable and easy to relate to! The place is meticulous, Load morning sunshine at the balcony, essentials as displayed in the bedroom plus own bathroom. Eating is also easy at his chic open kitchen. He is responsive to needs - he occasionally work at home which makes him easy to reach. Definitely recommend for longer term stay in Gaia.

The reception was excellent. Everything was explained and shown around. Any minor issues that arose were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Very convenient location in terms of shops and transport.

Signora Maria is very friendly and hospitable. In her house there was absolutely everything necessary for a comfortable stay, all needs were taken into account. Our family is grateful for living in her house. Thank you again very much!

Everything was great!

I spent several months at this property in a variety of rooms and was lucky enough to see the remaining rooms when vacant and found them to be all quite lovely. The building has been recently renovated so as to give a fresh new appearance and aesthetic meanwhile maintaining the elegance of a more traditional Portuguese home. The biggest highlight I had was the amazing owner/host that was always willing to assist guests and give as much as possible to provide comfort and security. The location is easily one of the best in Porto, right by the river with a bus and tram stop immediately nearby, although it’s only a short walk into the old centre and a moderate walk to the beach. There are restaurants, a market and other amenities nearby and would recommend this place for either short or long stays for either groups/couples or singles.

Isabel and Joaquim are wonderful hosts! My travel plans changed a lot, but they were very understanding and very helpful. It wasn't obvious from the ad, but the apartment has an ocean view! Arcozelo is a very cozy area, 15 minutes walk there is pingo doce. And the beach is the best!

Mariana was so warm and welcoming, she texted me before I arrived by plane and made suggestions for transport. Upon arrival she offered me a tall glass of water, house slippers, and the right plugs and chargers I did not bring. I felt so welcomed and peaceful in her place. My very large room had a balcony (it's one floor above ground level) where in the afternoon I could suntan. Shortly after I arrived I walked 5 minutes downhill and was at the famous Douro river, with miles of interesting walks in either direction. Within 20 minutes of walking I found a lovely beach and swam briefly. The water is always cold. From her apartment-- a supermarket with everything including a health food section is 2 blocks away. Also two blocks away is an indoor pool, and a lovely large peaceful park with tall trees. Adjacent to that is a museum. Right outside her place are 4 bus lines taking you anywhere; downtown is only 20 minutes and €2.50 away. Mariana was so thoughtful and easy to interact with. I highly recommend staying with her and in her neighborhood!

The apartment is very beautiful and clean and you will find everything you need there. It`s in a very nice area of the city 5 minutes away from a great museum of modern art and close enough to the beach. The hosts are the best I`ve ever had. They were very friendly, very helpful and they were among the reasons why I loved Porto

We had a really lovely time at this flat. The location is good, it's a 15 min walk to the downtown area where all the bars etc. are, but it was peaceful at night. There are also plenty of food options nearby, useful shops, bakeries, and some nice places to walk. It felt like a little more of a 'local’ area where we got a feel of the real Porto. The flat itself is cute and cosy, and the kitchen had enough space for us to cook together and is well stocked with equipment. The bathroom was nice and clean and modern, particularly the shower which was really nice with great water pressure. There's a little outside bit, shared with a few other flats, and for a few hours in the middle of the day it would get the sun, which was really nice for sunbathing and working outdoors, and also very useful for drying clothes. Andreia and Andres kindly provided us with many of the toiletries and cleaning products we needed which was very much appreciated! The wifi is reliable and fast and we both managed to work remotely from the flat together a lot of the time, and even managed to both have virtual meetings at the same time (one upstairs one downstairs) only needing to speak a little bit quietly! The flat was well supplied with clean towels, and spare bedding, and a couple of blankets for if it got cold (it didn't). The only issue we had was that there were quite a few power cuts during our time there - generally any time we turned the washing machine or the oven on at the same time as the stove. This just meant that we had to correctly time things to make sure we didn’t have too many appliances on at the same time. Other than this we really loved our time here, and we loved Porto. Andreia and Andres are super helpful and responsive and made stay as comfortable as possible. We'd recommend this place for location, cost, modern living, local amenities, and having great hosts. Amazing flat with marvelous views from balcony. Conceição is great host, very nice, positive and always in touch if something is needed.

Diana was very very helpful and responsive whenever I had any questions about the place or the city. I didn't get to meet her as her friend checked me in but she was always available on the phone whenever required. She was very welcoming and went out of her way to make my stay in the city comfortable. The place was very clean and spotless. It had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The house is located at a walkable distance to all the major tourist attractions of Porto but in a very quiet street. The place smelled amazing with all the room fresheners kept in every area of the house. It was too cold to use the swimming pool but it would be a great place in the summer. I highly recommend staying at her place and would choose to stay there in future. Thank you Diana for all your help.

Przestronne, bardzo przyjemne mieszkanie. Mieszkałam tam przez prawie 6 miesięcy i do niewielu rzeczy mogę się przyczepić: Plusy: - mieszkanie jest przestronne i wygodne; - wygodne łóżka, wystarczająco duże łazienki; - można zamówić cotygodniowe sprzątanie, co dla mnie było bardzo ważne, bo mieszkałam sama z małym dzieckiem; - co tydzień wymieniana pościel i ręczniki; - na dole była piekarnia z pysznymi bułeczkami i bar ze smaczym jedzeniem; - opiekunka mieszkania i panie sprzątające były bardzo miłe; - autobus do centrum pod samym blokiem. Minusy: - niewiele porządnych sprzętów kuchennych (musiałam kupić nową patelnię i noże, bo te zastane nie nadawały się do użytku); - przez 6 miesięcy zamówionego sprzątania nigdy nie zostały umyte kratki wentylacyjne, które zarastały pleśnią (panuje tam duża wilgoć); - w mieszkaniu poniżej właściciel trzyma na tarasie dwa duże psy. Spędzają one na tym tarasie cały czas (nigdy nie wychodzą na spacer), często wyją i biegają w kółko. Nie jest to przyjemny widok dla osób, które lubią zwierzęta.
